Happy Passover, Happy Easter...

Work has kept me away from posting until now... and has kept me from finding those interesting tid-bits I share with you... my 500 or so readers! LOL

These are a few that missed the cut earlier this week, but I still find interesting...

A Malaysian man said he nearly fainted when he received a $218 trillion phone bill and was ordered to pay up within 10 days or face prosecution. The man had disconnected his father's phone in January and paid the $23.00 bill. A short time later this bill arrived and floored the man...It has not been decided if this bill was a mistake or the man's dead father's phone was used illegally after his death.

OK, now riddle me this... $218 trillion dollars???? And no one can decide if it a mistake or not???? C'mon folks... There is no way .. I repeat NO WAY that this is NOT a computer F-up...

Did you hear about the horrible occurrence in Detroit? It seems a woman collapsed in her apartment and her 5 year old son did what he should have...he dialed 911. The operator told the boy to get off the phone and stop playing pranks or she would have the police come and arrest him!!!!
The woman's son placed two calls to 911 after his mother collapsed Feb. 20 on the kitchen floor. During one of the calls, an operator said: "You shouldn't be playing on the phone."
In a tape of the call, parts of which were broadcast by Detroit-area television stations, the operator said: "Now put her on the phone before I send the police out there to knock on the door and you gonna be in trouble."
In an audio of the tape played on TV, some of what the boy says is unintelligible.
The police arrived 3 hours later and the woman was dead.
The kicker.. the 911 operator is STILL ON THE JOB, while they investigate.

OK, riddle me this...How do they keep this fool on the job ... putting people's lives in their hands every day. They should not be on the job... buh bye

We will leave you with a happy story...If you go here, you will find a web cam that is in a fixed position watching the nest of a Bald Eagle Mother, sitting on her unhatched eggs. The eggs are supposed to hatch sometime this month, so you can keep an eye out for the babies to be born. There is audio there also, so you can hear the wildlife around the nest.. it is verrrry cool.
