Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday whether it be Passover or Easter.
The weekend was way to short for this puppy... so much to do, so little time.
Was looking through magazines this weekend during one of the slow periods and noticed a few things that made me interested an that I wanted to share with you all...
First off....Rolling Stone Magazine actually reviewed a song by Taylor Hicks. The song, Heart & Soul. Now the review itself is not spectacular... yet they give it 3 stars...!? This is the review by Andy Greene which appears in RS Issue 996:
"On this likeable but unexceptionable track from a self-released album, American Idol's most unlikely finalist - twitchy, gray-haired, retro-R&B singer Hicks - reveals himself as a more polished, but more conventional artist than he appears to be on the show. This is standard soul-rock stuff - so if Hicks records again, he needs to let more of his Seacrest-shocking eccentricity come through."
OK, first we had the Kevin Bacon game...now comes the David Caruso game. The star of TV's CSI:Miami is the star of an online drinking game. The site is dedicated to "TV's worst actor." Sample rules: Take two swigs when he takes off his sunglasses for dramatic effect; take one swig every time he places his hands on his hips.
ready kiddies...drink up!
So, the Aruban police finally made an arrest in the case of Natalee Holloway...
Can someone tell me if the lead detective on this case used to work in Boulder, CO and was involved in the Jon Benet Ramsey case????? A full year folks...ONE FULL YEAR AND the Holloway family is still waiting to put this behind them....
Has Barry Bonds retired yet? No? Too bad.
Keep that spark of insanity kids...It helps keep you an individual.

Ahhhh.....RS should've heard "Hell of a Day." That's by no means a 3-starred unexceptional song. At least he's getting reviewed.
Aruba...yik. Been there once. Never going back. I'll stay on the ship and play bingo. LOL Nope, Aruba, appreciate the long-awaited gesture....but not good enough.
