This will be our last post of the week. We want to wish each and every one of you here in the U.S. a safe, loving Thanksgiving.
To our guest who do not live in the U.S., enjoy the rest of your week and weekend and
also, be safe...
This year, we at The Couch have so much to be thankful about. Let's face it, you our loyal, loving guests know the entire year was not a joyfest...we went through a rough time back in the summer and forced you to endure our sorrowful rants...BUT, for the most part, 2007 has been a pretty special year...
That said...WE GIVE THANKS...
WE GIVE THANKS...that Mom Joan and Dad Vince are alive and relatively healthy. Dad had a few situations this year, but came through them with flying colors...LOVE YOU BOTH
WE GIVE THANKS...that we have such an incredible son. Matt, you are turning into a sensitive, intellegent, caring young man. You have so much to look forward to and we can not wait to witness your journey. This is the first time ever we will not spend the holidays together and that is the hardest thing for me, but you live in my heart every day...LOVE YOU DUDE
WE GIVE THANKS...for our sister Lynn and husband Kevin and niece Candice and nephew Joe. We miss you all and even though we are now further apart, we feel your love every day.
WE GIVE THANKS...for our brother Rich and wife Cindy and nieces Amelia and Adele...looking forward to joining all y'all for Christmas.
WE GIVE THANKS...for our aunts PattyAnn and Adele...again, we do not see you enough, but you both have always been so encouraging of all we have done and your love has always been overwhelming.
WE GIVE THANKS...for our cousins Joyce and Denise and husbands Rachid and Steve...This year will find you all so much closer to each other and that is a wonderful thing. You both have been there for me this year and we feel so much closer to you...
WE GIVE THANKS...that we are working full-time and have settled in here in Memphis...we work with some great people and our 'bosses' J.P. and Brian have made the transition so much easier...
WE GIVE THANKS...for our two BFF who share the same name...you two have been rocks this year and without you, we would never have made it through the rough spots...You are both going through your own ordeals now and know we are here for you both...anytime, anywhere, for anything.
WE GIVE THANKS...for our other friends who we know in real life or here in the bloggosphere... We do not say this lightly...You people are incredible. You are so diverse in your likes and dislikes, yet, in my life you all seem to gel.
The fraternity boys, whether playing fantasy football or just generally causing havoc in each other's lives with snarky remarks, one of the best things we ever did was pledge TKE...
The wonderful guests here on The Couch...you all encourage, and show your appreciation every day with your visits and comments...you also showed your love with your votes this year which allowed The Couch to be named Bestest Blog of The Year...it STILL blows us away...
WE GIVE THANKS...to the special friends from TOOSP and especially our HOOCHIES and HOTTIES...the daily emails and constant showing of love is just so wonderful...
WE GIVE THANKS...for the women and men all around the world who have made the commitment to keep our country safe and try and make it safer in other parts of the world. We hope and pray every day that those of you in dangerous areas will be allowed to come home very very soon.
WE GIVE THANKS...for the three new friends who have come into our life recently. We look forward to spending Thanksgiving with you and your family...We will speak of this soon, but now is not the time. Suffice it to say that there is a smile on our face that has been missing for a long time...
