Kyra, The 108, her husband Dean, The 109,
brothers Matthew & Owen and sister Olivia -
on the arrival of the newest member of their family
Emily's mom tells the story of her birth in her post from Wednesday.
We will tell you ahead of time, The 108 tells it straight - with no censorship.
She is also very funny and you feel the love she has for her family throughout her posts.
But be prepared ...especially the opening picture...

US Open began yesterday. YES, I know most of you think it is boring...but a Sunday afternoon on Father's Day, a few beers, hopefully a tight race coming down the back 9 between 2-3 golfers and it is something we enjoy.
The leader after round one...NICK DOUGHERTY...ummm who?
By David Shefter, USGA
Oakmont, Pa. – Nick Dougherty almost didn’t know what to do. At the podium in the media "flash area" for his post-round interview, the 25-year-old Englishman stepped to the microphone and offered up an incredulous "hello?" to reporters. He didn’t know whether to start talking or wait for a question.

We are reading Brad Thor's first Scot Horvath novel "The Lions Of Lucerne"...how did we miss this guy all these years??? It is a genre we enjoy and Thor does it well.
He had this great picture on his blog yesterday...it reminded me of something out of a Quentin Tarentino movie...we really wanted to put it up here, so we swiped it from his page. Then we began to think...well not Bond...yeah...you know...those other guys began to hound me...

CREDITS:OK, we let you stew long enough...we deleted that email and
DID NOT use the link!!

We see Paul Potts is even a front page feature on Yahoo this evening...
Here's hoping that our friend Matt-Man is feeling better today. He got mugged by 10 guys yesterday....ummmm...it was that or he went BOWLING with his son and de widdle ole man didn feel berry well...and we quote "my legs are killing me from bowling three games with my son yesterday."

WAIT..DO YOU THINK HE WILL LIKE THAT?
Well, I didn't really think about it...
JUST PUT HIS MUG UP ON THE COUCH...WHO CARES WHAT ANYONE THINKS...
NOW THAT IS NOT PROPER WITHOUT A SIGNED RELEASE.
Now really, do we really need to get formal. We could send an email
COME ON WIMP...PUT THE DAMN PICTURE UP AND STOP BEING A WIMP.
FIRST YOU DON'T PUSH THE LINK AND NOW THIS?
NOW REALLY, YOU MUST AT LEAST ASK HIM
OK, knock it off you two, we have an idea of our own...

So, we decided to give him a disguise...you can still get the "Tarentino" feel we were mentioning...
As is our custom on special weekends, we will be sitting on THE COUCH on Sunday, so if you are in the neighborhood and would like to stop by there is always a seat available.
To all the father's out there congratulations and enjoy your special day on Sunday. To those of my readers whose dad's are still alive, don't forget to call them if you can't be with them. If dad is no longer with you, we are sure that he truly is...and you will feel him on Sunday.

Happy Father's Day to you, sir. Unfortunately I can't make it home to see my Dad this year. Hopefully he was able to catch some of the US Open. He golfs at Oakmont East, which is the public course right near Oakmont Country Club.
