Travis lays out some guidelines for this meme and they go like this:
1. Grab the banner, make your post title Five on Friday, and be sure to link back here.
2. Go to Playlist.com to make your play list of five songs. Choose a particular theme to share with us. You can simply post the play list, or you can add a little summary about what you are sharing.
3. I don't know how to make a specific linky, so be sure to leave me a comment to let me know that you participated.
4. No tags, but feel free to invite your friends to play along if they need a post topic on a Friday.
Yesterday we celebrated the 7th Donis Nobis Pacem - Blogblast For Peace with Peace Globes flying from around the world...
What a wonderful day and I hope you enjoyed checking out the many wonderful words written...you can check out all the entries by visiting the woman who had an idea and asked others to spread the word...Ms. Mimi Lenox
My song for yesterday was a brilliant composition by the great Reba Russell entitled "LOVE IS THE CURE" - if you scroll down to yesterday's post, you can play that wonderful song.
Today, I am putting my Five On Friday to good use by sharing 5 songs I have used over the years on the day of Blogblast For Peace...Hope you enjoy.
HAVE A GRAND WEEKEND!
I saw the Blogblast for Peace on various blogs. Great idea and wouldn't it be wonderful to one day achieve true peace. John Lennon's "Imagine" is one of my faves.
my mother used to say, "Give peas a chance!"...

Blogging for peace felt so good, you hated to see it depart. Loved "Love Is The Answer" for your globe and today's selections on peace were the perfect follow up.
Great selections! I had a similar idea for my Set.
Good choices for peace songs - there really should be more of them in the world, shouldn't there?
Thank you for bzzzzzzzing and beeeeeeing an integral part of this movement. It was a wonderful day and I continue to be amazed by the globes and posts I'm reading. Not nearly finished. It will take a good long while.
