So, we have this hummingbird feeder right out side the window near our kitchen table. Lately our hummingbirds are very active. And we have one dominant male who has decided this is his personal feeder.
When other hummingbirds come close he will come flying out of the trees and chase them away. Then the other day he must have been tired, because he took up a perch right on top of the feeder.
He must have also been feeling purty, because he posed for over 10 minutes...
The results - (all should enlarge with a simple clickity click)

I've got all of the above, they're just a little camera shy. Nicely done.
We got a particularly tenacious woodpecker, but I haven't seen it yet...just heard it. On the bug front, you know what we have and I ain't takin' no pics of those NCELMs!
You were lucky to get the hummingbird to hold still that long. They are so fast. Nice pictures. Even the mantis is posing for your.
We have four mourning doves and about 30 sparrows every day. The doves come in the morning and again in the evening. The rabbits are sporadic these days, they were here every day through the summer.
It looks like the bird is posing just for you. Very cool.
Lets see, I have some snails and a few spiders around here that I could take pics of, I'm sure. There was a family of beavers living in the "lake" on the golf course, but I never got close enough for a good pic. And now I think they moved into a better neighborhood.
I've got an 11 year old human boy who won't do his homework. ;P
GREAT photos, my friend. Incredible.
DRILLER: You have gotten some great bird pictures though
TRAVIS: LOL..maybe if you take a picture they will no longer GACK you
TECHNO: Yup, they both posed indeed...Doves are beautiful
JAY: I know, he did!

SONGBIRD: LOLOLOL funny girl...and school just started! THANKS
Nice shots. Love the one where he's being so proud.
I have seen a couple of hummers around here.
I used to have a psycho Cardinal bashing into the windows of the house and mirrors of my truck.
MICKEY: Thanks...yeah he was so totally posing! You get hummers? OH...nevermind...you have deer dude...purty deer!
