Coming up this week on DR. BLOGSTEIN’S RADIO HAPPY HOUR:
(Live on Tuesday September 23 at 9PM ET and forever archived at BlogTalkRadio.)
(Live on Tuesday September 23 at 9PM ET and forever archived at BlogTalkRadio.)
Shawn Amos, son of cookie king Famous Amos, joins Dr. Blogstein and Dangerous Lee.
Shawn is the face and one of the founding partners of Getback.com. Funded in part by the founders of Rhino Records, GetBack.com is a website dedicated to all pop-culture, music, and entertainment from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
Think you know 70’s, 80’s and 90’s pop culture trivia? Shawn will put two lucky listeners to the test with the GetBackPop Quiz! If you want to play for a chance to win a GetBack.com prize pack, email me now. (first two emailers will play, the next two will be backup)
Also this week, New York Post reporter Max Gross will stop by to explain how he went from a schlubby, overweight ne’er-do-well with an unwieldy Jewfro to a world class stud.
The author of From Schlub to Stud: How to Embrace Your Inner Mensch and Conquer the Big City will show us that thanks to movies like Knocked Up and actors like Seth Rogan, being a chubby nerd is no longer a social death sentance.
Then, Craig Zucker, the co-founder and CEO of Tap’dNY will tell us why New York City water is better than water from “the top of some far away mountain.”
All that, plus the music of Orange County based indie-rock band, VOiD808, Vinny Bond drags his Big Leather Couch into the Radio Happy Hour Lounge to chat live with the listeners, Justin the Weatherman and we’ll take your calls at 646-652-4804.
Join us live every Tuesday night at 9PM ET. The Radio Happy Hour Lounge-a live, interactive chat room during show time! It’s the show within the show!

Unfortunately, many children right here in the wealthiest country in the world, suffer from the same issues, no food, no medical care, no parents, and no future.
It is up to us to help one another because I don't think any administration is capable of doing an adequate job of meeting the needs of these kids. I will post more later this fall.
Have a great day.
Bagwine, Ohio has some the best drinking water in the world. No, seriously. Cheers!!
DRILLERAA: Agree 10000%....
MATT-Man: Same here in Memphis...excellent water
LMAO at the thought of Matty actually drinking water
Oregon water kinda sucks. Now Utah waters is deee-licious.
Those pictures are very powerful and Driller is right we do have those same issues in the US but the level of poverty and disease in those third world countries is a different class of poverty all together. I don't think it needs to be either/or. I donate and volunteer local and I donate and volunteer global.
I'm with Starr; help need not be focused only locally or globally. Locally, your impact might be great or small; help on a global level, and your impact could be astronomically high, at least as far as the life of one child. Hubby and I support causes locally and globally. It just makes good stewardship sense.
Your friend's photos are amazing.
i have some ozark mountain music called "ozark red hair" by the people who produce it
i have a tape for ya'll this weekend
of it
charlene in alaska
i love it
They both have some amazing photos...very nice!
Whether we do a small thing or a big thing, we should do some thing.
Great photos.
Got your note over at my place about Diane. I'll send her a link to your blog...hopefully she'll drop in for a visit.
