If you were not aware, Starr loves going to Hawaii, and almost let me stow away in her luggage last year...

Well, that is not important today, but to honor her love of Hawaii, everyone take a LEI as you enter the party...
And we requested that he stare at her the whole night and make her feel warm and tingly...
And of course there must be a BIRTHDAY CAKE...and a song, and since she has told us that Mom and Dad were hippies, we know she heard many songs by this group growing up, so we will use their Birthday Song to serenade her...

Yesterday was a yucky day as we prepped for a 'procedure' we are having this morning..all we were allowed were clear liquids all day...now, when we do not eat we get a headache and no amount of Advil or the like gets rid of it...and it prevented us from being on the computer much, so sorry for the lack of visits...
and then we needed to drink some yukko tasting drink which assisted in completing the preparation...
It is an important test that men should have beginning in their early 40's and women in their 50's...
The first two times we had it done in Massachusetts there was no Demerol shot...and the doctor even asked if we wanted to watch the TV screen...(the freaking weirdo)...
In NJ they gave us the Demerol which let us sleep through it and today, we have been promised the same...
My Darlin' Nancy sent this out to some friends recently and it made us laugh...NOW, if our doctor comes in singing, we are out of there like a shot!

Oh I loves it! This is the most fun I am bound to have on my big day as well. Doing dinner at the parentals with kidlet and having cake too. But this was took some work and time and given - ahem - your "adventure" tomorrow that was most sweet of you! Thanks Vinny! Big meaty hugs! Nice and robust ones unline Matty's lent vegan ones. And PERFECT song. The Fab Four are long time favorites =)

I hope your "procedure" goes well. I here the procedure itself is pretty easy; it's the prep work that's not so pleasant. I'll be thinking of you whilst I lie in the hospital getting pumped up with diuretics.

The hangover from Matt's party and Bond's Adventure in Colon land make PERFECT bookends for my birthday. Seriously. Liquored up and laquered down! Cause I am weird and contradictory like that.
