Today, we get to celebrate another special Birthday...

Now, as many of you know, Starr and her kidlet have been battling the bug for about two weeks now, so please take a mask, as we do not want anyone else getting sickly...

If you were not aware, Starr loves going to Hawaii, and almost let me stow away in her luggage last year...
HEY..WHY THE HELL DID YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND ANYWAY???

Well, that is not important today, but to honor her love of Hawaii, everyone take a LEI as you enter the party...

We did ask if BONO could sing for her, our U2 is loaded on the not-working-MAC (ah we are about two weeks away from the new one YEA!)...but we were able to grab this one song...
And we requested that he stare at her the whole night and make her feel warm and tingly...

Since Starr and the kidlet really have not had appetites, we decided to just serve cocktails...and as you might know, her site URL is Absinthe Dreamers...so....

And of course there must be a BIRTHDAY CAKE...and a song, and since she has told us that Mom and Dad were hippies, we know she heard many songs by this group growing up, so we will use their Birthday Song to serenade her...

Yesterday was a yucky day as we prepped for a 'procedure' we are having this morning..all we were allowed were clear liquids all day...now, when we do not eat we get a headache and no amount of Advil or the like gets rid of it...and it prevented us from being on the computer much, so sorry for the lack of visits...

and then we needed to drink some yukko tasting drink which assisted in completing the preparation...

It is an important test that men should have beginning in their early 40's and women in their 50's...
The first two times we had it done in Massachusetts there was no Demerol shot...and the doctor even asked if we wanted to watch the TV screen...(the freaking weirdo)...

In NJ they gave us the Demerol which let us sleep through it and today, we have been promised the same...

My Darlin' Nancy sent this out to some friends recently and it made us laugh...NOW, if our doctor comes in singing, we are out of there like a shot!
