It's Friday!!!!!!

Yeah baby...
Been a long week...need some weekend time...
Have a new blog to design and need to tweak our SugarBaby Dixie's Heart & Soul

YOU have one thing you NEED to do...
Go over to visit Travis today and spend 10 minutes
10 short minutes...it will be so worth your while, we promise...
THANK YOU my 'Hottie' Brother for your post.

OK, is this the NFL's way of telling us that we better scream at our cable operators to put the NFL Network on a lower tier? How the hell can one of the biggest games of the year be available to such a small population? The game seemed much closer than the 10-point difference it ended up being. Wonder if Brett Favre does not get hurt if the game is a whole lot closer, but...if you saw the play, you know that Brett made a huge mistake.

He has to recognize the blitz on that play and there is no way you can double-pump when the blitz is coming...

Did you see the story where the man walked into a Clearwater, GA bank and tried to make a deposit with a $1,000,000.oo bill? No, he did not walk in and try and deposit a million in billS...which would be dumb enough...no he tried to deposit a 1 million dollar BILL! ummmm they do not exist kiddies..and then the knuckle-head gets upset and starts yelling at the teller when she refuses to accept it!

His name is Alexander D. Smith, 31, and in case you are wondering...he is single ladies....but may be unavailable for a few years!

In case you are curious what a million dollar bill MIGHT look like if it did exist...

In our attempt to keep all of you bloggers up to date in the news...

Rodney King was shot in San Bernadino, CA - LA Cops NOT involved

We promised Peter we would let him hear this song...Hope you enjoy sir...

This is a great rendition of a tremendous song....Taylor Hicks with a live version of 'Georgia On My Mind'

The song waswritten in 1930 by Stuart Gorrell (lyrics) and Hoagy Carmichael (music). Gorrell wrote the lyrics for Hoagy's sister, Georgia Carmichael.

However, the lyrics of the song are written ambiguously enough as to refer to the state or to a woman named "Georgia".

Carmichael's 1965 autobiography, "Sometimes I Wonder", records the origin: a friend suggested: "Why don't you write a song called 'Georgia?' Nobody lost much writing about the South."

The song is best known as sung by Ray Charles, who first recorded the song in 1960. It became Georgia's state song in 1979.

HAVE A FABULOUS WEEKEND MY FRIENDS...

  2. I'd want an investigation into the King shooting...

  3. Travis Cody Says:
  4. The NFL needs to stop and stop right now. Put the damn games on tv so everyone can see them and stop trying to get more money out of the fans. This was a stupid thing to do, and it was even more stupid to lobby fans to drop Comcast and switch to another service.

People work hard for what they have. And I won't have any more of my money extorted from me by stunts like this.

Thank you for the Taylor and the Georgia. I always enjoy that.

  5. Schmoop Says:
  6. Considering some of the people I know, that Santa shirt is probably pretty damn accurate. Cheers Vinny!!

  7. Wait a minute...the guy who tried to deposit bogus bill is only THREE YEARS OLD? WTF?

  8. Travis Cody Says:
  9. Dude - I appreciate the shout. Two of the several moments that are clearly etched in my memory are watching Jimmy V run around the court in 1983 looking for someone to hug, and that speech he gave.

It was only a few months later that I got my diagnosis. I remembered "Don't give up, don't ever give up".

  10. KATHERINE: I called and asked one to be started for you

TRAVIS: Right on the money my friend....pick the hottest game of the year to pull a stunt like that...

MATT-MAN: Are you one of them Matt?

SONGBIRD: no no dear...he is the THIRD...there were two before him....as in Senior, Junior, III

  11. TRAVIS: And we are so very happy that you took his (and your own)advice...the shout was an easy thing to do...:::manly chest bump and hug:::

  12. SONGBIRD: Or I am just a knuckle-head and it should have been 31 not 3 ...hehehehehehe

  13. Needless to say that I have a upset sweetie in my house. Tony loves those Packers... he's a cheese head from wayyyyyyyy back...

I do believe that if Favre had NOT got hurt that things may have been different.

You know that my two most favorite NFL teams are the Tennessee Titans and the Green Bay Packers. Some of my other favorites are the Pittsburg Steelers, Chicago Bears and the Dallas Cowboys. But I just HAD to go with the Packers last night.

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... I love this!!!! Thanks!!!

  14. Coco Says:
  15. i'm not focussed enough to make coherent comments today, but i'm searching for some sense of normalcy, so i'm commenting, even though i really have no idea what Your blog is about ... You might not want to publish this comment. IDK, whatever You think. *hugs*

  16. OBLadyBug Says:
  17. Thanks for the song Vinny. I'm sure Peter will enjoy.

  18. See I think that bill should have Dr Evil on it. And thank you for the Moonlight in the Pines. I love that song, but then again I love Ray Charles with a passion.

  19. Mia Says:
  20. Santa flipping the bird...lol thats just so wrong.

  21. Meribah Says:
  22. Have mercy, Bond! The last time I was at that free rice site, I donated 10,500 grains in one sitting! If I go back, I fear I will end up donating a 100,000...or 1000,000...and I will have no life to speak of...well, even less than none, I guess, since my social life is pretty much non-existent already. Let's see, I guess I would end up with a non-life in the negative digits??? LOL :P

By the way, thanks for the soul music from the Soul Man! Wooo!

  23. RW Says:
  24. Hey its hard trying to change those million dollar bill...Great Taylor Hicks song Vin! Have a fandammtastic weekend!!

  26. So what happened to Favre? I missed it..... ;-(

  27. Okay, you're a knucklehead, but I love ya anyway!

  28. Liz Hill Says:
  29. I am quite happy that the Cowboys won but very unhappy about the injury to Farve--a real favorite. And I think the NFL network is a crappy place to put a big game.

    AWESOME putting Taylor's Georgia up.

    Smooch

  30. Sparky Duck Says:
  31. Urban Outfitters is one of the embarassments of Philadelphia, since that is where there corporate headquarters are.

Yes Favre got hurt, I bet you he is out there next Sunday. Though I missed the whole game, i think it was depression or maybe vodka.

  32. Julie Says:
  33. Great post Mr. Vinny! I heard some scuttlebutt about stoopid Britney..but I didn't believe it until I saw it here.

Santa hates those inane "politically correct" people because he really got off saying "HO HO HO" for a month.

MERI: you are just a word genius dear....and you do have a life

ROGER: that is why I only use $250,000 bills when I shop!

TUG: He took a sack, sprained a wrist and separated his left shoulder

SONGBIRD: Well as long as ya love me...

    TURNBABY: You Texan you...Smooch

SPARKY: U.O. reverted to the lowest rung on the ladder...OH, he will be out there next week, he is one tough MoFo

JULIE: TY my friend...HEY you can't say HO HO HO ... well here you can say anything...hehehehe

  35. TopChamp Says:
  36. Hello - hope you are having a great weekend too! That's my favourite fraud story so far. In my office job we fairly regularly receive fraudulent cheque notifications - people trying to pass off fake cheques as ours. They don't work because our bank won't pay out on them but still people try.

  37. Beth Says:
  38. Dear, I know you are a fan, but Taylor Hicks doing anything, especilly Georgia On My Mind, makes me very, very ill... soryy love ya!

  39. Unknown Says:
  40. Absolute best song our Soul Man ever did. Did I ever mention I'm a Georgia Peach? Born in Atlanta, I was...

  41. Tug Says:
  42. I'm not a Packer fan, but I do like Favre so I hope he's all right. I wonder (along with about everyone else) if it isn't time for him to retire though?
