Still Going....

Sparks Of Insanity By Vinny "Bond" Marini Friday, October 12, 2007

It's Friday....

Took the day off....

Nothing going on, just a mental health day....

Well that and my left arm is in pain...might have pulled a muscle...who knows....

Maybe a tear? Will call the doctor and see if we can get in to see him...

Because of that it is real hard to type...we mean real difficult...doing this post one-handed...

No zoo again...oh well...

My situation with my friend...all taken care of....nice to have them back in our life...

What are you doing this weekend? We have no real plans now...anyone want to fly into Memphis and go to the zoo?

Weather broke down here yesterday...was actually 60 degrees during the day...

Got a package yesterday from a friend which contained some Caribou steaks...cooked one up last night...dredged it in flour then egg then flour again and cooked it up in the cast iron skillet in some vegetable oil...then poured the oil out and added some flour and made a roux then added a little milk and water for the gravy...YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Not real gamie as you would think...first time we had Caribou, but we love Venison...

Who do you think will win the battle of the unbeaten, New England or Dallas? Should be a fun game to watch...

Hoping an Icy Hot patch will ease some of the pain in our arm...have not slept well the past two nights because of the pain...

Heard they canceled the World Series this year... that is too bad... bwahahahahahahahaha

Did you read the Joba article yesterday? No? Why, because it was about a baseball player? SHAME SHAME...it truly is a great story...

So, Paul McCartney is going to give Heather Mills between $40 and $120 million (US dollars) in their divorce settlement...guess when you want to end it and get rid of someone you will do anything...

If she is not in this for the money, then let's see her give 1/2 of whatever she gets to the charities she is always touting...

Yeah riggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggght.....

Arizona fans acted like fools last night, throwing water bottles and trash on the field after what they felt was a bad call...looking at the replays, the call was justified...

Hey...head on over to THE DATING PROFILE OF THE DAY tomorrow and play along in the fun game Mimi puts up each week...

You TOO Songbird...what you do well once and then never come back again??? Huh??? Huh????

Bring your snark folks...The site is linked on the right....ova der ----->

That is about all we can do today...going to take a muscle relaxer and hopefully get some sleep...

All y'all have a great weekend..be safe...smile and we will see you on Monday...

30 Of Your Sparks

  1. LOVE that song =) Tell me something...if you were typing the lyrics out would you spell it Lord or Lawd? Let's see you have been Southern Borg'd yet ;)

  2. STARR: Silly question, without a doubt it is LAWD!
    LOL

  3. OH and I would have spelled it that way 10 years ago! LOL

  4. Okay, first of all, I'd love to come visit you and do the zoo, but hubby now is home only on weekends since starting his job in CA, so that's out of the question. Perhaps another time; me love zoos and..ahem...animals.

Secondly, glad you and your friend got things straightened out. I'm sorry you're physically ailing, though. That sucks.

Thirdly, what the hell is up, mentioning the foolish D-Backs fans and me in one breath...er, paragraph? Was that intentional? A so-called Freudian slip? Whassup widdat? You callin' me a fool? Or just thinkin' of me as one?

No, I haven't done the Dating Profile of the Week since that one time because...uh, uh...hell, I ain't got no 'scuse. I just haven't done it!

Have a good weekend, jerk face. Love ya!

  5. Schmoop Says:

  11. SONGBIRD: I missed where he is working in CA now...must make it tougher on you...the zoo is not going anywhere! TY for the friend and the pain comments...It was different paragraphs and trains of though...do not take it personally...well the Dating thing you can!

  19. Ralph Says:
  20. Have not had venison nor caribou yet, but your roux sounds like it can be the basis for a good gravy. I still am working on the technique for smooth gravy...As for the Series, I hope it's not canceled, it was a bummer when MLB last did that in 1994...

  21. Gail Says:
  22. Mama kisses on the arm...will be sad when that doesn't work on my boys anymore...I hope yours feels better.

Doing the "fall cleaning" routine this weekend, swap out summer clothes for the fall/winter clothes. The most depressing clean up for me...hate putting all the fun summer stuff away for the heavy drab stuff.

Oooh, the zoo and 60 degrees! Wow, wish I could afford a plane ticket...

    HUGS, babe.

  23. Sparky Duck Says:
  24. Gonna try and relax, though when you plan that out, it never happens.

    **gentle hugs**

  27. cathy Says:
  28. Hope your arm soon gets better, it hasn't affected your wit though; I nearly fell off my chair laughing at your potato eyes comment on matt man's blog.

  29. RALPH: You have to get the flour a nice toasty brown before adding the mik and water and you need to whisk firmly to endure you get the lumps out

GAIL: Ah ty so much...mama kissed work forever dear...do not let anyone tell you otherwise...LOL all my clothes stay in the closet year-round, but I am a guy! Maybe you will be able to soon...

SPARKY: The Sux asked the same question about CC last night it seems...not Bourbon...SOUR MASH WHISKEY dude

CATHY: TY and please remember, Matt gets extremely jealous when you tell him someone was funny in his comments! LOL

  30. Meribah Says:

  34. Travis Cody Says:
  35. Getting here late, but at least I'm finally getting here.

    Let's see...

Not commenting on the mental health day - I'm sure you deserved it but I had a bitch of a day yesterday.

Glad you and your friend worked things out. Can't make the zoo.

Never had Caribou. Sounds like you had a great recipe for it.

I picked NE. Dallas has a bit of magic surrounding it at the moment, but NE is just a damn good football team. I hate that, but it's the facts!

Didn't see the news about D-backs fans. That's a shame. No matter how justified you are in protest, it's just dumb to throw stuff on the field.

Have a good weekend and take care of that muscle problem soon.

  36. Mimi Lenox Says:
