Holy crap folks...this REVIEW just DROPPED in on THE COUCH and many of his points about the design were things we have been working on for the new COUCH - hopefully to be unveiled just after Labor Day.
Thank you Jack!
Thank you Jack!
Good Monday...
Hope your weekend brought a DROP of sunlight into your life....
bwahhahahahahahaahahahahahaahaha...
well at least it was the back of the tooth so we can still smile and not look like we live in Kentucky!
(Sorry Turn, could not help myself!)
Yeah...like we can afford another bill...OH well...a little pain never hurt anyone----did it?
SO, did you see this weekend, our man Rick Ankiel continued on his quest to become a movie subject? YUP...on Saturday he went 3-4 with TWO home runs! On Sunday1-4 with a double. Truly have to DROP a tear for this story.
Tonight, make sure you say a prayer for these six men and their families.
His money really rolled in when he 'invented' a silly game where you got the answer and had to supply the question. "Jeopardy" became a HUGE hit in the 60's and then he took the game "Hangman" and turned it into the wildly successful "Wheel OF Fortune"... In 1986 he sold the rights to both shows to Columbia Pictures Television for $250-million dollars, but was smart enough to keep a portion of the profits for himself.
In 1989 Barron Hilton offered to sell Griffin the Beverly Hilton. Griffin DROPPED $100.2 million for the old hotel and completely refurbished it for $25 million. Then he made a move for control of Resorts International, which operated hotels and casinos from Atlantic City to the Caribbean.
He got into a bidding war with Donald Trump who held 80% of the voting stock. Griffin eventually acquired Resorts for $240 million.
Griffin was 82 and passed of
Sorry, could just not say he DROPPED dead...though I am sure Matt-Man would have...
How about we DROP the stylus onto a little Led Zep for a Monday?

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.
Kind woman, I give you my all, Kind woman, nothing more.
Little DROPS of rain whisper of the pain, tears of loves lost in the days gone by.
My love is strong, with you there is no wrong,
together we shall go until we die. My, my, my.
An inspiration is what you are to me, inspiration, look... see.
And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles,
Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.
Happiness, no more be sad, happiness....I'm glad.
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.
Hey, honey, I hate to drop this one one ya, but those trapped miners are in Utah not Oregon.
(I know, I know, all y'all who live east of the Continental Divide think all the western states are the same. Sheesh.)
Jeopardy is my favorite game show of all time.

Hey - keep an eye tooth on that bad molar. You don't want an infection, which will end up costing 13 times as much to fix.
I hadn't heard about Mr Griffin - that news brought back some interesting memories.
Thank you for the Zep!
Later dude!

Just read Jack Jack's review and left a comment there.
So glad I found you BEFORE you hit the big time; now I won't look like a groupie who just joined the bandwagon!
Seriously, his kudos to you are very well deserved. Your writing makes me look like a hack - and I'm a professional!

Glad you enjoyed the music!
I worked for Merv for three years in the 90's. He use to own radio stations. I never met him, but I posed fpor a picture for his 710th birthday (along with the entire staff). He was never as proud as he was when he hung that picture up. "And here's the TAPE radio DJ..."
That's a lotta dropping going on!
Thanks for such an amusing and varied use of "drop" -- sorry I'm so late in getting here, but I didn't drop the ball forever!
It only took ten minutes, but I got your blog to load from home!
Whooo-hooo!
BUD: OOOO You and Merv....
MORGEN: Glad you liked it my friend....
