Cool Monday...

Sparks Of Insanity By Vinny "Bond" Marini Monday, December 15, 2008

What a weekend!

8:15pm...Just got to the apartment after dropping Nancy off at home. This is the stuff I hate. Spending a great 3 days together and then having to leave each other...

Anyway...let me just say I am totally exhausted...Saturday night did not end until about 3:00-3:30am...checked out of the hotel, visited with two good friends and then the flight home...

Will have the pictures and story - or minutia as Doctor Blogstein would call it - for ya'll tomorrow.

I am laughing at the "heck-a-doodles" being bandied about...

Busy week with Mom Joan & Dad Vince arriving on Thursday as they make their way to San Antonio and Brother Rich's family for Christmas...and ummm...there is this thing called shopping that has not even begun.

Going to lay down on the bed, watch my NY Giants play Dallas and open the Christmas cards I received yesterday while we were away.

Have a very cool Monday all...

And in that spirit...Mr. Fats Domino..."Jingle Bells"

ENJOY....

  1. Dana Says:
  2. Ahhhh ... nothing says "Merry Christmas" like Fats Domino singing Jingle Bells!

  3. DrillerAA Says:
  4. Your Giants looked a little more like dwarfs last night as the Dallas defense recalled memories of "Doomsday".
Glad you had a wonderful week-end though.
Now you get to shop 'til ya drop!

  5. Bud Fisher Says:
  6. Enjoy your Monday as well. Glad to hear you had a great weekend...

  7. Patti Says:
  8. Never heard Fats Domino singing ::Jingle:Bells::

I like it! It's getting me into the spirit.

  9. Liz Hill Says:
  10. So a Beach Boys song seems apropos---

And wouldnt it be nice to live together
In the kind of world where we belong

You know its gonna make it that much better
When we can say goodnight and stay together

Wouldnt it be nice if we could wake up
In the morning when the day is new
And after having spent the day together
Hold each other close the whole night through

Happy times together weve been spending
I wish that every kiss was neverending
    Wouldnt it be nice

Maybe if we think and wish and hope and pray it might come true
Baby then there wouldnt be a single thing we couldnt do
    We could be married
    And then wed be happy

    Wouldnt it be nice

  11. Jay Says:
  12. Glad you had a good time.

Your Giants have been exposed a bit. Without Plax and Bradon Jacobs the offense sucks. Nobody is afraid of the other receivers or running backs.

Got my card yesterday! Love it! Thanks.

  13. Jeff B Says:
  14. I'd root for anyone to win except the Cowboys. . . even the Giants!

  20. Mimi Lenox Says:
  21. Sounds great! Now you need to rest!

  22. Glad your weekend was a lovely one. We are snowed in in PDX town. Sunny and blue skies though but everything is frozen over. So I am home today. Gonna be a long weird week if this weather keeps up.

  34. Well that game was a bust to cap off your weekend.

  35. Ralph Says:
  36. Boy, Antoine sounds excellent. The piano, upright bass (the only way) and sax are so rich. A New Orleans twist to a classic. Except, it usually doesn't snow down there (until last week, anyway!)

  37. TRAVIS: Isn't that the truth! Man, they really missed Jacobs.

RALPH: Doesn't he though? I love the sound of that song. Glad you enjoyed.

  38. Liz Hill Says:
  39. I think 'both' ;-)
