JOE CROKER
SITS ON
THE COUCH
Joe Croker sat on The Big Leather Couch in June 2009. A native of Kansas City he spent time in Washington, DC, finally Joe ended up in Nashville, TN where he has taken the music of his youth and found a sound that is unique and enjoyable.
Taking generous portions of country, blues, jazz, pop, rockabilly and folk, Joe Croker has found a sound that will catch your ear and make you listen closer.
He is a true storyteller, using his lyrics to pain pictures of the world around him. Whether it is a biting commentary on politics, or words of love for the lady in his life, Joe’s emotion is raw and out there for you to grab.
Joe and I will sit and discuss his career thus far, how he ended up working with some incredible artists on his albums and what he is working on in the studio these days.
The live interactive chat room opens 20 minutes before show time. Follow this link HERE and click on the Chat Now icon.
Remember, unless you take the two minutes to register, you will not be able to participate in the chat room or send me questions to ask Joe, but you will still hear the show.
So tune in on Monday evening or, you can always listen anytime after the show ends from the player HERE or the one at the top left here or download from iTunes, directly from the player.

This is Shayna Zaid & The Catch. They are out of New York and I am working on getting them on MOTC real soon.
Their music is infectious. Shaynz has a vocal and stage presence that is not to be denied. The interaction between she and the band is what makes the music so much more fun. The best description I read was from Audio Candy Radio "the band plays like they're a part of her body... Awesome."
I thought it best to present this band in video form...
ENJOY...

save us a spot...we'll be there.
I'll be there Vinny...if I make a note. I need notes for everything anymore. Cheers Vin!!
Liked the Shaynz Zaid video alot!!!
Very entertaining.
I'm going to try really, really hard to find a spot on the couch tonight! Joe actually sent me an email regarding one of his songs (about secrets) after stopping by my blog. I've been impressed with him ever since!
...shades of Dan Hicks!...
That song in the video is the kind of stuff I'd need to experience live. I'm glad you posted the video instead of just the music, otherwise I probably would have turned it off quick...especially at 6am. The violin was a bit much for me, but she is definitely compelling.
I'll be there! Hope you have cookies for us. ;-)
KATHERINE: Your reserved seat is waiting
MATT-MAN: Try more Ginko babe..then your memory might get better
MICKEY-T: She is very good as is her band...hoping to talk with them soon
DANA: Your reserved seat is waiting...he is a neat guy
PHFRANKIE: I can see that..yup
TRAVIS: Check out some of their other songs...I really like this band

Shanyna Zaid & The Catch....one word...WOW. I really liked them. Very good.
Did someone say violins? I'll give it a listen. See you on the couch later tonight! If I stay awake....
GREAT show tonight, Vinny.
