I think I see pretzels and pasta. If that meat is oysters, count me out. I have NO idea what the brown thing is. Did this come from your kitchen or an episode of Iron Chef America? It looks like something that Morimoto would do. Just sayin'
It looks like some kind long or wrap that has been sliced in small round slices and some pasta and maybe ham or Canadian Bacon slices and some pretzels sticking out of the middle of it.
...I think it should be obvious to everyone that this is the appetizer plate that Savoy Brown called for in their rider for their last tour, from whence the boogie came....
...now for my official guess: this is a centerpiece or some other display of natural items such as grass, stalks, bark, pine cones, ect. depicting various foods. Whaddayathinkamenow?...
Bwahaha - funny you should mention Ozzy in your comment on my blog.
Ralph's sister bumped into Sharon Osborne in an elevator in Dublin last month, but they didn't converse. What are you supposed to say in such an unexpected situation? How's Ozzy? I dunno what I would say.
I remember seeing Savoy Brown years ago, they were opening for someone else, I can't remember who, I want to say Pat Benatar but I don't think that's right. It was around the time that she was popular though. Pretty cool seeing them as the opening band though.
Okay, I see a sandwich made up of shaved beef and accouterments wrapped up in a tomato tortilla. And I see stuffed pasta tubes, stuffed with, maybe gorgonzola. And homemade russet chips (crisps?).
All three items are artfully presented in a pineapple shaped hors d'oeuvre platter. That is what I see. Combined with drinks before dinner at say 7:00? it whets my appetite, anyway...
I am NOT looking at anybody else's comments first. Well...it looked like stuffed clams at first and then a peacock plume. (and I haven't even had pain meds today..don't start with me).
It's a flower arrangement. Right? Am I right, Nancy?
I got into blogging to express myself. It has led me to sharing my life, my passion for food, my fiction and my love of music.
Music On The Couch is a passion for me. Sharing "Musicians You Should Know" and helping those who appear on the show to grow their audience.
I don't know! Bum. The brown looks like a pine cone pattern but the rest - no idea.

I see penne pasta filled with something, and some sort of pastry shells filled with something else!
Very attractive food presentation, Vinny. You captured the colors and patterns of nature. Or something like that!

Being that I have a very limited knowledge of foods like this, I can't even begin to guess.
I would, however, venture to say that it's probably all incredibly delicious.
Absolutely NO idea! And you made me read ALL the comments and ALL your responses and I learned nada, Vin! :)
PATTI: I thought you would enjoy the Ozzie comment..I would have said "HEY SHARON...what's shaking?"
DIANNE: Who does not love pasta?
SOUTHERN: Oh man...you will be sorry you gave up so fast
MARY: LOL...that was my plan!

RALPH: Great answer!
MIMI: Interesting guess also!
I think it's the macaroni wreath I made for my mama when I was in kindergarten. ;-)
Obviously, no clue, but definitely wanted to stop by & say hi!
