A few weeks ago a young man, David Bachner, that my son Matt helped coach was found dead on the floor in his home by his mom.
Matt has been greatly impacted by this event and it brought me back to the first friend I lost.
Matt and a couple of other guys put together a drive for t-shirts honoring David for a scholarship the high school is starting in his honor.

When a youngster passes, we are all reminded of our mortality and that we are not guaranteed tomorrow's light. The question is, "Am I prepared to step into eternity?"
I'll be thinking of you guys. Have a wonderful wedding, take lots of pictures and raise a glass for absent friends.

LOL .. Well make sure you have an IV hooked up to her so she gets plenty of nutrients and stuff. That's what I usually do with my victims .. er .. uh .. well anyway. You know what I mean. ;-)
That was a lovely story and I am glad I know now who these two young men were. Thank you for sharing that and my condolences to Matt. What a hard thing to have to hear.
