THIRTEEN THINGS THAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS IN VEGAS:
1. Missed Nancy so very much.
2. Participated in 5 excellent seminars and two really poorly done seminars
3. Watched a 'pro' sit at the bar and make a connection with some 50-something guy in a business suit.
4. Walked the exhibit floor three days in a row and entered drawings for three flat-screen TVs and multiple i-Pods (no word on if I was successful).
5. Ate the most incredible Kobe Beef sliders..they were like eating manna from heaven.
6. Had multiple cocktails throughout the trip
7. Woke at 5:00am on Monday and actually tried to get into the gym at the hotel, only to find out it did not open until 6:00am...showed back up at 6:04 to find every machine taken.
7. Missed out on Dancing With The Stars, though TiVo should have it waiting for me when I get home.
8. Ate some great dinners at Joe's Stone Crab, Trattoria Del Lupo ( a Wolfgang Puck joint), Capital Grill.
9. Found out great news about Matt, which I will share with all y'all on Friday or Monday.
10. Lost some money, won some money, lost some money, won some money, lost some money...won a nice amount of money...to be continued...
11. Walked the strip and marveled at the amount of neon in such a small area and
12. Never got to read any blogs...missed y'all.
13. Drove down to Hoover Dam on Wednesday and took a bunch of picture which I will share next week.

just woke up from a 2 hour nap~~dad's fucking rooster woke me up a crowing (dad usually got up at 5 every morning and he and i would talk until mom got up then i would go back to bed and sleep for a a few hours. i just wanted to say how much i appreciate you bringing me some cigs during the time when i really needed a smoke. Ya'll are really some special to me and i will never forget your act of kindness during the time of dad's dying!
