And nope...I did not even get it hooked up last night...Like I said I vegged...
So here I am at almost 11:00pm...LOL
I know at least four of your whispered "he is gonna shuffle..." BUT, if you can't do Tuneage on Thursday, than what can you do...???
Oh yeah, I know there is that HNT thing...but I never promised you would get one every week...I am not protesting like Matt-Man but I think it is better to just drop it in on occasion....
Before the music...I received this in an email from Dad Vince, who got it from Mom Joan...I think they were trying to send us, their kids, a message but for the life of me, I just don't get it!
So....let's hit the play and see what we come up with...Listen to one, a few or all...your choice...

I think I have external hard drive envy *wink*
A terabyte of memory! Remember when a 16 Mgz machine with 320 Megs of RAM was thought to be more than anyone would ever need? I once had a 486-66 Gateway with 500 megs of RAM. That was bigger than any of the machines at the office, and we were doing AutoCAD on them at the time.
Great tunes. You just can't go wrong with Bonnie Raitt, and it's been a l-o-n-g time sine I've heard Tobacco Road.
Bad blog writer...bad!*giggling* Well you said to!
Hey now there is nothing wrong with a good shuffle. I say this cause I shuffled today as well :P
I gotta get me ones of them drives!
Oooh-I need an external drive too!
And, I love Bonnie Raitt. I don't listen to her at all anymore though. I'll have to dig out my cd.
DANA: Nothing new for me...many have had EHD envy...LOL
DRILLERAA: My first machine had 500mb...then I went all crazy and has 1 GIGABYTE!!! wooo..My old iMac had 60GB and I thought 'man I will never need any more". The new iMac has 250GB...so now I have 1.25Terabytes...
TURNBABY: And YOU always follow the rules!
STARR: LO great minds...but they do not sound alike though!
Sent you the info on the drive...
**scooches up on the couch...sitting Indian style**
Hi!
That's an outstanding collection of songs right there, Bond. Well done.
And nice job with the external hard drive. Sounds like you got a great deal.
You folks are moving in on Tuesday. Buy plenty of Depends...
Jeez Louise...I almost posted a JOHNNY Winter song today...its 90 here with 90% humidity and I thought some Winter music might cool things off..I see you beat me to the punch.
I couldn't watch your message from Om and Dad...I started to, but since both mine are gone..I just couldn't.
Life goes on though..
Love Mona Lisa...but then I'm sure you would have figured that!...lol
Have a marvelous day and thanks for the tuneage..as always.
HUGS!!
JULIE: Glad to see you back again
RWA: Glad you enjoyed them...It was a great deal...looking forward to not watching the GB decreasing so fast
BUD: OK, I am not sure what you mean...
LEELEE: LOL great minds...I can understand why you could not watch...guess I should have had a warning label...
HUGS
I also LOVE Bonnie Raitt and in fact have a fantasy about sitting on a smokey bar stool (not that the bar stool is smokin...you know...) and singing Karaoke Raitt just once in my life. Incognito. Dark glasses. No crown. And a pencil skirt.
Just once.
Then I'll go home.
Vinny, if I have a lot of tabs open when I get to your blog nothing plays for me. I don't know why. It happens all the time on your blog and every body else's blog. I think I over-surf and my CPU is over taxed! :(
vince~~just got call from mom's dr~~her bladder cancer has not returned~~dad is in local hospital for stroke therapy~~ and was able to move his right arm today
tghanks for everything darling~it's amazing~~thoughts and prayers do work~~
thanks
MIMI: So JUST DO IT THEN...come to Memphis and do it here where no one knows you
THE TEACH: Mary...then you must close the other tabs my friend!
I love Bonnie as well. How come she is never listed in the Guitar Hero Rolling Stone issue? The woman plays slide like a demon. Favorite song of hers is still Angel From Montgomery...hint hint hint...Lifelogger is calling Vinny!
CHARLENE: EXCELLENT NEWS! Continued prayers for even better news...
STARRLIGHT: hint hint? what? LOL...no really I got it and you are correct, she is a great guitarist...
Would you believe I don't have that one? I used to. Have the cd case, no clue where the cd is. It peeves me.
STARR: When I moved I found 6 CD cases....EMPTY...of course no one knew where they were when I asked...
Hey Vinny,
What a beautiful video your parents sent you. It will be two years ago next Tuesday that my Mother passed, and just two months since Dad. Watching the video was bittersweet.
Good Luck with your new EHD and thanks for the great music.
Hugs,
Kimmie
KIMMIE: Glad you enjoyed...and thanks...
Vin-
I meant that the video was all about of taking care of them. "Depends" diapers could come in handy! Oh, I added music to my Yankee tribute...check it out. One more thing: I've always wanted to ask you if you knew who was in the picture I use on Sundays for "Stealing". Can you tell which ballpark & which player?
My parents sent that video out also...hmmm. ;-)
I need one of those too. I have a fear that I'll get down to the last of more than 300 cassettes, something will crash, and I'll have lost the last 7 months of tuneage transfer.
**runs outside, turns around three times, and spits to avoid the jinx**
i just got around to watching the video~~i want to go to the hospital and hug mom and dad~~
BUD: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Sheesh...I loved the song addition
TUG: Wow...interesting ...they have a network!
TRAVIS: No doubt you should get it and be safe...
**jumps over the sock on the floor four times...screams LALALALALA (does not spit - I am inside)**
Lucky you, I bought mine full price but after just 6 weeks all my files went kaput. I brought it to a technician and he said there was nothing I could to retrieve my files as they were already corrupted. I lost all my files and photos in the process :(
For those of you who still have both parents.. cherish them.
Next time, put a disclaimer Vince. I didn't need to see that.
Bad blogger.
BLACK_MAMBA: Sorry to hear that...using the same model EHD?
ANNDI: Bad Blogger? - nah... I did say above I should have described it...
