Very interesting. When I scroll down the gray background turns to a textrued pattern. I like the pattern, but I can see where it may be a challenge finding text that will be readable. I would love to be able to do some of this stuff, but alas, I will have to be content with Blogger templates for now. Have a great day.
DRILLER: Does the pattern come into play before the post ends? The gray will extend with each post ...so you should never have the pattern as the background for the type. If you would like help with a template, just ask.

I guess I checked it this morning before the post was actually up. It works just like you want it to. The background pattern doesn't start until the end of the post. Very nicely done!
I really like the spinning bling thing.
the loading may be a bit faster.
I like the darker background...the pattern shows up at the bottom....but it covers both the center column thru the left column
the font could be a little bigger for us older readers....
The part I like best is the black column background rather than the blue.
makes me think I should update...

I am a bit prejudice because I love black and grey backgrounds so it looks great. I am not sure that there is enough of a change that untimately that you'll be happy with it. If you are looking for just a mood change, than it is good. If you want a "big great new look", not so much. I have no 8idea why you need to change, I think your blog already looks great. But my daughter is helping me change the WTIT.net site and I have the same problems...
