So, we had some more Lead Belly that we did not share with you that we did not have room for, so we thought we would do so today.
We do wonder how many of you listen to ALL the music on our Tuneage Tutelages?
Do you?
hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
If you don't, we wonder if it is because you do not have the time or is it because you are not interested?
hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
Have a great weekend and enjoy the most wonderful Mr. Huddie LedBetter
"Alabama Bound"
"Jim Crow Blues"
"Hesitation Blues"
"Birmingham Jail"
"The Boll Weevil"
When I don't listen, it's because I don't have the time. Sometimes it's because I'm not interested, but I'm usually more intrigued to hear new stuff (new to me), so I'll come back when I have more time or I'm in the right state of mind.
I didn't have time yesterday or today to listen, so I'll have to come back. I just wanted to stop and leave a comment since I hadn't in a few days.
Don't get rid of the music Vin!! Thats why I come here lol! I really enjoy the music and the facts of the music!! Have a good weekend my friend!!
Led Belly is an American Treasure
I've been too busy catching up with work (cuz I goofed off all December) plus my speakers here are blown. Then when I get home, if I spend too much time on the computer, hubby has a coniption....
But I do make it around to listening at least once a week, and if that means i have fifteen songs to listen to, so be it.
I love the music lessons. Keep them up Professor Bond.
SMOOCHES
hey! who you callin' a lead belly???
smiles, bee
Aw...the couch feels comfy after a looong week.
Oh, and I'm a music lover - but I'm usually so strapped for time that I can't listen. Pout.
Sometimes, there are so many songs in a post I get overwhelmed and end up not listening to 'em all. Plus, there is that whole time thing. Maybe it would help if you posted just a few songs at a time? Anyway, thanks for more Lead Belly! :)
Awwww Vinny you know how much I love having the opportunity to hear different kinds of music and you do such a good job on your selections. I confess because of lack of time I don't always listen to every song but would be very disappointed if I didn't have at least one song to look forward to hearing every week day. SMOOCH
Have a good weekend Vinny. Cheers!!
I don't listen to it all, I usually select a song or two. The issue of course is TIME.
It's great that these old recordings have survived. I try to listen to all the music at some point during the week. And I really enjoy it when you put a tune up that's just about the right length to go with your post.
Have a great weekend!
Have a great weekend sweetie!
SMOOCHES~
I cant when I'm at work, and when I get at home, if there is alot its hard to play them all the way through. So I usually listen to a bit, then play the whole thing if I like it.
But I think you should keep doing it, the variety is so good.
Keep it up!! Thanks!
I listen when I am not at work. Work nerfs music. Work also sucks donkey bits right now so, yeah :P
I just got a fresh new pack of blank cd's Bond. I'll try to get them burned this weekend. No Etta yet...Matt might be your sugah daddy for that one.
Oh and do you have Amy Winehouse? I have Back to Black and Frank. Holla at me.
Overall interesting comments...
Wondering if I should do a day of post and then stretch the music over a couple of days...
But it appears there is too much music on the Tuneage Tutelage Days...
I have nothing BUT time so I get to listen as much as my little heart desires. I love the music. A lot of the times, it might be something I have heard but haven't thought about it forever and so it's like going down memory lane. Also, you play a lot of stuff I haven't heard and then I get to love new music all over again.
For those with time issues, maybe you could do a weekly band profile and then every day post one or two songs and something fascinating. Like, do a big tuneage tutelage and then every other day do a regular post and at the end put TODAY'S FUN FACT ON CCR or whatever. Then, post a couple of tracks. That would be cool. But for me it matters not...LOL. I get to listen all at once if I so choose.
BTW: Love you...
I don't think there is too much music on the tutelage posts. If you are going to do a retrospective on an artist, then you need to incorporate as much music as you can.
Your music posts are informative, and having the tunes there to listen to really rounds out the posts.
Travis:
Thanks for clearing that one up...I really agree, must have the music to illustrate the post...thank you my friend
I start to listen to everything. But sometimes I don't really like it all so I stop listening part way through.
I'm not a very tolerant music-listener though. I decide too quickly whether I like songs or not. Something to work on. (as I am doing right now as I don't really like this first one ... although it's interesting me as I haven't heard much like it before)
I usually turn it on and listen to the songs while I'm surfing on the web but I try to listen to them all! I figure if the Bonded One likes them then they should be pretty good :D
I'm with the group NancyBoy....keep the music even if all of us can't listen to all of it every time...
TC:iF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT, THEN YOU SHOULD NOT LISTEN, THOUGH YOU MIGHT FIND THAT AFTER HEARING THE WHOLE THING IT HAS GROWN ON YOU
DANA: TY my friend
HOFFA-GIRL:You have aways been a follower...hehehehehehehee welcome back..
