THREE DAY WEEKEND....
We get Monday off to celebrate Memorial Day. As such, there will not be a Monday Matinee. Not to say we won't do a post to honor the day...you'll just have to stop by to find out.. or not.. whatever...

There are those out there that do not care for anyone but themselves and they are a danger to all of you.

This actually has nothing to do with me other then we received a phone call from an old friend who put their faith and trust in another and have been abused by that person.
No concern over the well being of my friend or their family. This person took advantage of a situation and now refuses to take account of their actions. The excuses they have given are arrogant and egotistical.
We want to do something to help, but at this time, we do not have the opportunity except to be a shoulder. It is infuriating and painful all at once.
The slimy, disgusting cretin even has the nerve to threaten our friend with causing more hardships. We are not talking physical in nature but mental and financial hardships, which are just as disgusting and just as painful.
My brain can not get around this and all we think about is finding a way to make this person pay for their sins.
We very rarely rant like this about personal issues but we are just in such a state right now that it is all we can think about.

We (phew, almost typed that one letter word again... guess our mind is elsewhere, we better be careful tonight..) have tried to figure out how you do it, but have not figured it out yet.
You guys holding out on me? See, we do use the pronoun - that is a pronoun too right?... oh heck, sure it is - , "ME" but not that other one letter word.
And while we are on that subject, how is one letter a word? By definition, shouldn't a word have more than one letter?
Why do I feel like if we look in the mirror at this second, we would see a bald head, a goatee and be holding a bottle of Wild Irish Rose?
Not like that is a horrible thing, but we do like our hair, and never looked good in a goatee and really have never liked Wild Irish Rose...hummm... does that make it a bad thing then?
We were going to go back and see if that little one letter word snuck in again, but we are afraid that if we find one our head might explode... OH yeah, we use "OUR" also... - another pronoun folks - ...
Ummm OK, why did we talk about looking in the mirror and seeing that vision? Well because this feel like a Friday Steam of Consciousness and that belongs to this guy who lives in Ohio... but hey, he is a friend and friends share... ummm don't they?

Vinny - sometimes a shoulder is all a person needs and knowing that you are there with that shoulder is wonderful. Remember what my Dad always use to say "What goes around comes around"... good or bad it will come back to you.

I know how frustrating it is to know that someone is hurting and that you can't stop or prevent it. It's an awful feeling. You are a good friend and that is what she needs right now. You are doing everything just right.

As to trusting folk - I left makeup in the toilets of a bar before a gig on Saturday because a girl told me she couldn't pee with anyone else in the room.
