Welcome To THE COUCH...Sit on Down and Get Comfy...

Today I am off to Memphis to meet the client. The company I will hopefully be working for, Inner Workings (www.iwprint.com), manages all print for them. I would be the main face of the company on-site at the client's corporate offices.

Thusly, the client needs to "approve" me. I guess as long as I don't tell them they are ugly or spit on the floor while I am there, I should be good to go. Then I am told I will be needed there A.S.A.P.

Will be back late Wednesday...will let you all know on Thursday how it went.

Yesterday was a long one...I never felt good all day. The reading of the names from Ground Zero took over three hours and was heart-wrenching, though I stayed away from all visuals from 5-years ago.

Yankees are now leading the AL East by 10.5 games over those guys from Boston and their magic number is 9 (combo of 9 Yankee wins or Boston loses) to clinch the AL East Title, which would be their 44th overall (and ninth in a row), on their way to trying to win their 27th World Series title. And the kicker is, they should be getting one of their important players, Hideki Matsui, back after his missing 3/4 of the season!

Thank you for all of your memories yesterday..though sad, it was nice to hear from you all.

Thanks for sitting on THE COUCH, hope you enjoyed your stay.

FIND AN OPPORTUNITY TO PAY IT FORWARD!

Remember .. Nets For Malaria - UNFoundation.org/malaria - find the big SI's Nothing But Net logo ... Or call 202.887.9040. Every cent goes to buying nets to place over the beds of children in Africa to stomp out Malaria. PLEASE HELP.

Keep that spark of insanity kids...It helps keep you an individual.

10 Of Your Sparks

  1. Sending up a prayer and keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you. I'm going to ask you to please, oh pretty please, don't attempt to use "your" southern accent on these guys. They will NEVER understand what you are saying.

    Have a safe flight.

  12. Hey, Vince! How did the "interview" go yesterday? Do tell!

Just got a new job myself. Ready to go back to work full-time after five years of working from home and "recovering." It's a small boutique ad agency. Should be a fun new challenge for me.

Anyway, hope to hear good news upon your return!

    Best wishes, Gretchen
