Again, I apologize for the video player that was here yesterday and the links to the porno sites it brought with it...

We are going to be doing some videos today, because I am finding some great stuff...Thanks to Rocketboom and the San Antonio Express Time Wasters blog (plug for brother Rich's page)... actually, the first video, I ran to post to Time Wasters so they could find it and guess what??? It was their posting for the day! Really, if you have some time to kill...go over and check them out.. they find some really cool stuff...

So, first off.. if you have not seen the latest Diet Coke / Mentos video.. this one puts all the rest to shame...These guys have recreated the famous fountains at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas (think the last scene in the recent Oceans 11 film)...

Wet Design, a company specializing in creating intricate water shows, designed an array of underwater pipes with over 1,000 nozzles that makes it possible to stage fountain displays coordinated with over 4,000 lights and music. The Fountains of Bellagio, as the attraction is called, was made using three types of nozzles: "oarsman", which can swing back and forth to create dancing water; "shooters", which can shoot water upwards; and "super shooters", which can send a water blast as high as 250 ftm) in the air.

Then there is this site where you can add subtitles to scenes from films made in India (they call it Bollywood). Watch the scenes they have and you are given the opportunity to add three lines of dialog... you can have a blast with this and then share with friends through email...I had hoped to link one here, but it was not working as I planned, so go on over and make one up and share with friends...C'mon folks... you remember the great sub-titled movies from early Saturday mornings..NOW you can make your own!

We have all heard of Dubai...one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates on the Arabian Peninsula ...well Dubai City is supposidly one of the fastest growing cities in the world...and it is not oil money doing it...Only 6% of the income comes from oil...They have set up "Free zones" for business, offering special tax incentives, international trade and custom's related freedoms...This has resulted in companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, Sun and others to already establish a presence there...This slide show from flickr.com shows the incredible building going on...OK, not a video, but it is a slideshow! flickr Dubai slideshow
