So, America got it right and sent Kellie home on AI...she was in over her head at this point and did not have the chops to continue on. A tiny pat on the back..I have predicted the departing contestant for the last 6 weeks... woooooo

Very interesting interview with Nigel Lythgoe the executive Producer of AI with TV Week the other day. As reported, Taylor Hicks practiced a song for 4 days and then on MONDAY, the producers told him he could not sing it since they did not feel Andrea Bocelli would sing it. Like he would sing Bryan Adams or ANY of the other songs???? Taylor's original choice.. Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness".. a fabulous song... So, he had one day to take ownership of a song basically hoisted on him..

Wondering what they will do next to knock Taylor down???
Next week ewach of the five gets to sing two songs. One from this weeks Billboard Top 10 Charts, the other from the year they were born.

I feel like I had so much more to share with you all today, but the day has totally gotten away from me, so you will all have to come back tomorrow to see what it was ... (listening to the thunddering herd getting in line for tommorrow!)
