So today on my way to work I am waiting at a stop light and a car comes up next to me. Next thing I hear is BOOOOOOOM rattle BOOOOOOOM rattle...I could not hear any music, just the BOOOOOOOM of the sub-woofer and then the rattle of the car...the whole car rattled every time!

Of course, the windows were blacked out, so I could not see inside...but it was jarring to my teeth, I can not imagine what it was like inside the sealed car.

Toyota reported a $1.2BILLION profit for Q1...yup and that is after the recalls and PR nightmare cost them at least $1.0Billion...

So, could LeBron James being playing below his ability to ensure he leaves Cleveland.

All the talking heads keep saying "If LeBron wins the title this year, he will be hard pressed to stay in Cleveland." Well last night I could have played better than LeBron...well, maybe not me...but certainly anyone with basketball ability could have done better.

Man, Arizona is really trying to become the state that anyone could hate. Now they are banning studies that examine one ethnicity. Looks like this November is going to be bloody and nasty as all get-out.

I want to stop illegal immigration...NOW...what I do not want is for citizens - legal citizens - be denied the right to learn about different cultures.

Just a warning, I will be posting over at REAL LIVE LESBIAN'S site tomorrow. She has been inundated with work and then the devistation of Nashville - though, luckily, her home was not impacted - and DANA of "Amid Life's Crisis" has been doing a heck of a job posting at least twice a week. I told RLL that I would be willing to post some music things over there from time to time and she protested and told me to stay away, readily accepted.

This is the site that will allow you to see all my music posts in one place. Not everything has been moved, but I am getting there.

Just a word to everyone who is claiming deny-ability...FOLKS! without your help this oil spill is going to critically damage an entire region of the USA...and you probably better remember that your employees live in these areas and use the seashore for recreation and they will be impacted.

Have you read any of the transcripts of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee's grilling of the three stooges? I found this a good source HERE.

Lamar McKay - president of BP America, Steven L. Newman - chief executive and president of rig owner Transocean and Halliburton executive Tim Probert are the new Mo, Larry and Curly. They each sit there and say, well it was HIS fault, no it was your fault, no his fault...over and over.

It seems to me like everyone just needed to be there just too dang quickly and this is the result. And I am sorry, when I see the name Halliburton, I immediately think shoddy management, shoddier quality controls and a company that is just in it to screw their customers and grab the bucks.

Slap all three of these clowns upside the head, and then do the same to their companies by making them pick up the tab for the entire cleanup.

Maybe then someone will stand up in one of those meetings and say "Ummm, guys, maybe we should slow down and make sure that all the specifications for a safe, clean operation are met."

And that is just my take on it...what's yours?

Crazy day at work with meetings consuming most of my day.

Luckily, I was able to check Facebook a couple of times and was able to see that my friend Liz wanted me to change my status message - so I did.

Then I changed it again...just to be different.

Well, I finally grabbed up the URL for Music On The Couch. I am planning some changes here and on my other blogs...yes, even Mangia Y'all! Just some cosmetic touch-ups...trying to make this, my main site, a bit move navigable...I tried for MOTC.com, but I was told it was taken, and then I go to see by whom and HECK-A-DOODLE it looks to be a domain not taken...OH WELL...

I promised my friend REAL LIVE LESBIAN I would do a post about music for her blog, so I am working on a not too overwhelming TUNEAGE TUTELAGE to post there next week. I know DANA from "Amid Life's Crisis" is posting there on Tuesdays, so I will probably post it over there on Wednesday or Thursday.

I have never done a guest post before...that I can remember.
