So, in full disclosure mode..the show Monday was a semi-train wreck. To begin, my first guest never showed..as and JAY of "Cynical B**tard" pointed out, why is it always the first guest?

Then my second guest were right on time, except I had technical difficulties and all I did was echo..echo..echo..echo..echo

Now, I did talk with some other BTR hosts and I now have a fix if and when it happens again. really sucks because Aaron from Hot Buttered Rum put up with it and was a really good guest.

Good news is we spoke on the phone when the show ended and he will be coming back to discuss the production and recording of his solo album...

i did get a note from guest #1 and she ended up at a funeral that day and well, I was not on her mind...Will see if I will rebook in a few months.

So, now that we are not going to NYC next month I have to decide if I am still taking those 4 days off. I have taken, I think 2 vacation days this year and will be taking 4 in November...so that leaves some 8 days left to take...do I take a few days off in the summer and relax and enjoy? Do I wait until December and take some time then?

We are thinking of going to San Antonio for Christmas...so I could take 5 days off there and leave Thursday the 23rd. Friday is a holiday for me..then Mon-Thurs off and Friday new Year's Eve is a holiday...hummm still leaves me with 2 days..maybe a 4-day weekend?

So much to consider...

Did you see the HUGE oil spill in China? What a mess..and this is one scary picture. This firefighter was thrown off a vessel by a wave and became coated in the thick oil and drowned...yes that is the poor man being carried on the back of a co-worker...

This is truly scary...

Had some major face time with the new person I ultimately report to for my company. Shocked her with some of my background and some other items. I think it was a great opportunity and hope it results in some benefits down the road.

So Brett Favre has been traded to the NJ Jets...Welcome to the jungle Brett! I believe his image has been tarnished by the events of the last few months.

No doubt the Jets can use this boost to their quarterback position. But if Favre has a down year, watch out. The talk radio hosts and fans and even more so, the fans in the stands will let him know he is not the icon he was in Green Bay!

Hey did you notice last night on So You Think You Can Dance, the separate interviews were held on a BIG LEATHER COUCH! What a show last night! But I can't tell you about it as well as TRAVIS will...so head over there and check it out.

OK, the entire bloggosphere has done this meme, so I guess I might as well do so.

Bond Needs May Stop History Center - Well, I have needs, yes, but I don't think I would actually stop the History Center from being finished.

(James) Bond Needs To Step Up His Chicks - Let's clarify, my nickname has nothing to do with James Bond. It began as yoursbond which is a shortening of a fraternity greeting and then has been shortened to just Bond over time. Secondly, I have no need to step up my chicks. I am dating a wonderful woman who makes me smile...nuff said.

OK, then we tried Vinny Needs and that did not give me many choices at all. A lot of things with Vinny in the title, but not Vinny Needs.

Vinny Needs A Job - Were you not paying attention above? I have a job that I am very happy with, thank you very much.

Vinny Needs Some Money-Part 4 - Well, ummmm yeah, but I am sure most people do....this particular Vinny needed it in at least 4 parts...gee that is one more than my lasagna videos!

Vinny Needs Our Prayers Please - I am not a person to turn down prayers, so sure...and thank you.

(My Cousin) Vinny - (Everyone) Needs To Watch This Movie - While it barely meets the requirement of the Meme, I hardily agree with the sentiment. "My Cousin Vinny" is a hilarious movie and Pesci & Tomei make a great pair.
