Jeff Krantz decided to take on the music industry full force in 2007 and since then he has garnered honors including having been named a finalist for Male Artist of the Year from the International Music Awards, and being awarded a Billboard World Song Award.

We will discuss his rise as a singer-songwriter and how it feels to have two of his songs just named finalists for the Great American Song Competition.

I also want to discuss this summer’s Greenest Tour and how those plans are developing.

Then Chad Hollister will join us from the hills of Vermont.

Chad and his band mates; Jeremy Goldsmith (Lead Guitar/vocals), Jared Johnson (Bass/vocals) and Drew McKeon (Drums) recently returned from an extended tour through Colorado where they are winning a lot of fans.

Their brand of Rock-Pop-Roots is smooth and silky. Chad’s vocals win you over from the first note and crediting Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Bob Marley, Paul Simon and Tom Petty as your influences…well, you get some interesting sounds.

Veterans of the Ecaussinnes Spring Blues Festival, Chicago Blues Festival, Lucerne Blues Festival and more, this band reaches down and grabs you by the gut and does not let go.

The just released Let's Live It Up! (April 20) is the bands 9th album. 14 songs guaranteed to make you want to get up and boogie. We will speak with Pierre Lacocque, harpest and leader of the band about the new CD and recording with legends Carl Weathersby (Albert King) and John Primer (Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters). There is some rich history to this band and we will discuss it with Mr. Lacocque.

If Chicago-style blues makes you smile, don't miss this one.

Then we get to speak with Ms. Carrie Rodriguez about her brand new release Love & Circumstance (April 13th), a covers album that includes a song written by her father, and once performed by her great aunt.

From her start as a teenager and a violin, Ms. Rodriguez is now touring the world with the likes of Chip Taylor (famed songwriter of "Wild Thing) and Lucinda Williams.

Eight albums in eight years has brought Ms. Rodriguz to this album written by the likes of Hank Williams, Townes Van Zandt and Ry Cooder, to name a few. She puts her stamp on every choice.

How did she choose the songs for this CD and her recent tour with Los Lonely Boys & Alejandro Escovedo will be two subjects we discuss.
