Every Wednesday evening at 9:00 PM do you get Lost? Do you find yourself on the edge of the couch wondering what will happen next? Are you a fan of the show LOST?

And last evening, the show took another sharp turn and made me wonder......
Hurley was featured in the show with flashbacks to his time in the psychiatric hospital. It appears he went out onto a porch and it collasped and two people were killed and that turned him catatonic. In the hospital he is progressing except for one patient named Dave. Dave seems to want Hurley to keep eating, not take his meds and to escape. Hurley backs out of the escape at the last moment.
Now, on the island, Hurley sees Dave and chases him into the jungle. Wondering aloud how Dave could be there, Hurley yells "YOU ARE NOT HERE"..at which point Dave throws a rock and it hits him and hurts....Dave tells Hurley the entire island is in his head..a dream..that he is catatonic in the hospital and if he leaps off a cliff he will wake up. Dave then dives off into the ocean...Will Hurley jump??? Is this all a part of Hurley's coma-dream???
Long story short...Dave is not real..He is in Hurley's mind... and tried to get Hurley to commit suicide. Libby saves Hurley and tells him she does like him and they kiss and all seems wonderful...until...we flash back to the hospital and who is sitting on the other side of the dayroom from Hurley....LIBBY!
So, LOST fans... Tell me... is this all a dream of Hurley's? Is it someone else's dream? Is it all real?? Are they all dead and in purgatory??? (All speculations I have read on the internet.) Let me know your thoughts....

I understand Taylor had strep and a fever the night he sang and that "Take Me Home Country Roads" was not his first choice. His first choice could not be cleared, so this was his second selection. Taylor.. you need to belt one out this week...
QUEEN WEEK... Who picks these themes or are they just for sale??? How does "Don't Stop Me Now" sound for Taylor... hummm I like it..would give him a chance to shake it up on stage and it seems to be in his vocal range.
I am also interested in this whole theory of AI being fixed...I have been given links to articles written talking about the lineup of songs on the CD they produce each year which comes out before the show ends... We will speak more on that in the next few days.

Last evening American Idol put us through the COUNTRY THEME night again. Can we please kill this theme for next season?? Thank you.
I agree with Ryan Seacrest...what were the judges drinking last evening? What a strange evening.
NOW, for a little story before we begin. get home last evening..do what eneds to be done...get dinner ready... it is now 8:26...TiVO has been recording. I go and turn a light on and the bulb blows, also blowing the fuse. TiVO shut down ... OMG...run, run, run...grab flashlight...down basement...fix fuse...run upstairs...turn on TV..phew..Paris is being judged (it was NOT Taylor...phew)...watch Ace live and then go back to TiVO land to watch from the beginning. That told, I will not be judging Paris today.

MY OBSERVATIONS
TAYLOR: You all know how I feel about Taylor Hicks... can't wait to buy his first "under contract" CD. That said... Taylor had a way off night (this morning I am hearing he was feeling sick). Let me tell you all something.. I truly wonder if taylor is tired of this. Spending 7 days to sing for 3 minutes. This is a guy who is used to singing every single night. His eyes just said to me...I want to go home. He looked uncomfortable, he looked stiff,,, he looked bored. Are the producers holding him back? Is he listening to some bad advice? I know the SOUL PATROL was out in force. Hope it was enough.
MANDISA: The girl can blow...no surprise there. Beginning was shaky, but it got better from there. She played the entire stage last night and I liked it.
ELLIOTT: Elliott is certainly not a country singer..that goes without saying.. What needs to be said is that he did an excellent job last night. There was some pitchy notes and he may have held some longer than Kenny Rodgers would have liked, but he did well.
PARIS: AS STATED ABOVE..CAN NOT REMARK ON HER.
ACE: Shaky performance once more. Got bored halfway through the song. Nothing more to say.
KELLIE: Hurts me to say this, but of course, she did well. Good song selection. Good vocals... and then she wears the tiny top to ensure the male vote. Now, about having her hairdresser fly in from Charlotte to do her hair. This po' lil' girl can afford to see someone who charges $300.00 a consult and cut??? hummmmmmm...this is why I can not believe the stories of her po' lil upbringing.
CHRIS: Nice vocal. Glad he did a ballad, though I was not drawn in by it. I am just not feeling him the way i was in the first few weeks.
KATHARINE:Was that country??? I guess if the producers said it was, then it was...INCREDIBLE VOICE... sent shivers up my spine. She is getting more comfortable on the stage each week and that can only mean she is more powerful each week...no matter that she ended up in the Bottom 3 last week.
BUCKY: Well, if he could not pull this off then no one could. Start was shaky, but he pulled it together. I also thought the last note was real weak, like he did not believe in the ending.
Was it Ryan who said "YOU CAN JUDGE THE SINGING WITHOUT JUDGING THE SONG" ? I totally disagree with that. You have to judge the song while judging the singing...

Ah Tuesday and it is cold out once again...ugh..Cold and damp and WHERE THE HECK IS SPRING??????!!!
Katie Couric is leaving THE TODAY SHOW and heading to become the anchor for the CBS EVENING NEWS. SO, no more 4:00 am wakeup calls...no more pop concerts at 7:20 am on the plaza at Rockefeller Center...No more inane "Where is..." segments to deal with. Now, only real news...straight-ahead, sit at a desk, look at the camera news. Does anyone really thing Katie has the chops for that? I guess we will see soon enough.
OK... we have all read the stories on where the Homeland Security money is being spent. I have seen some strange uses for this money which is supposed to be used to protect the areas of our country most susceptible to terrorists attacks. Now comes the tale of DILLINHAM, ALASKA, population 2,400. Dillingham received a grant for $202,000 which it used to install 80 surveillance cameras to watch over this fishing town. Yes, you heard me right boys and girls...EIGHTY cameras for a town of 2,400. That works out to 1 camera for every 30 people - at a cost of $84 per person. Now, lets see what NEW YORK CITY is budgeted for. AH, $46 million dollars. Per capita...$6 per person. Now, to review...Dillingham $84/person...NYC $6/person. Yup, that seems right to me...OK, EVERYONE RUN AND CHECK OUT THE 10 CAMERAS LINKED ON THE DILLINGHAM SITE...nice basketball courts...
So, Saturday evening Howard Stern and girlfriend Beth Ostrosky were out walking in Manhattan when a crazed fan approached and began threatening them. A call was made to the NYPD and by the time they arrived, the man had left. Enter FARTMAN..oh, no..nevermind..that joke is dead...Anyway, Stern rode with the cops and spotted the man and he was arrested. I have to tell you, I miss Howard since his move to Sirius Radio, as I can't afford to buy the equipment right now. Stern has had his share of loonies over the years (I will pause here while all of you anti-Howard people make up your own jokes)...including a man who once pulled a toy pistol on Ronald Reagan! This man wrote Howard threatening letters and was sentenced to 2.5 years in jail.

Anna Benson has filed for divorce from her husband Baltimore Oriole pitcher Kris Benson. Just days before the papers were filed, Anna, in an interview with STEPPING OUT MAGAZINE talked of her husbands fidelity to their marriage. Grounds for divorce....INFIDELITY! Word is Kris is devastated since he and Anna had not "christened the mound" at Camden yards. You see, they have never made it a secret that they have "done it" at different ballparks he has played in. My money is on Anna becoming the newest Anna Nicole Smith "reality-celebrity".

Robert Wuhl has a new show on HBO. It is called ASSUME THE POSITION. Check it out of you can. Wuhl is a scream. He is in a college class giving his take on American History. I laughed for 30+ minutes and you will also...promise.

Phil Mickelson won the BellSouth Classic on THURSDAY for goodness sake. The rest of the field should have packed up and gone home to their families... Now Sunday, I turn it on and I see Phil in a playoff and I can't figure out how he lost such a big lead... DOH.. playoff was a replay from last year as they waited out a rain delay... LOL.
